It’s a dilemma straight out of Catch-22; how do you know you need help, if your only means for determining that need has been compromised?

Experts say 70% of people will go through a traumatic experience in their lives, and 20% of those will suffer from PTSD.

“… everything is impacted when someone has combat stress or PTSD – not just the individual Soldier, but everybody who comes in contact with them.”

Military experts are warning that the United States is taking on security and political commitments [in Afghanistan] that will last at least a decade and a cost that will probably eclipse that of the Iraq war.
